Seafood Seasons

Know the Season. Protect the Future.

Belize closes its lobster and conch fisheries every year so stocks can breed. Those closed seasons are what keep the fishery, and the livelihoods built on it, working season after season.

Careful handling and good information

NATFISH has participated in electronic catch-documentation and traceability initiatives, and in Belize's spiny lobster Fishery Improvement Project alongside sector partners.
